Hi! I'm Mr. Simon Pratt
I am a Titled APA Musculoskeletal and Sports Physiotherapist who works as a Lecturer in Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy at The University of Notre Dame Australia, and clinically in private practice. I also worked for several years as the Physiotherapist for the Western Australian Under-21 Men’s Hockey Team, and served on the Western Australian Sports Physiotherapy Association Board from 2008 to 2013.
I am particularly interested in rehabilitation of upper and lower limb injuries, progressing rehabilitation from acute injury to end stage return to function. I also enjoy working with patients in developing beginning stage exercise programmes for those interested in commencing or re-commencing exercise. My research has investigated into ankle and knee injuries, and I am currently undertaking a PhD researching low back pain.
I commenced work for Global Specialist Physiotherapy in 2014, consulting to private practitioners to help provide a second opinion, to assist with complex cases, and to deliver tutorials and lectures. Having completed studies in clinical Physiotherapy and education, I enjoy both teaching the discipline of Physiotherapy and working clinically in the area.
