Attendee Testimony

Kieran Richardson from Global Specialist Physiotherapy’s course on Lumbar Spine Motor Control is transformative in how we as clinicians understand and manage chronic lower back pain. He synthesises an up to to date understanding of the literature with multiple real life case studies. This highlights the unfortunate truth that often chronic pain and unhelpful pain beliefs and behaviours stem from health professionals themselves and how they communicate with their clients.

Kieran teaches how to integrate the knowledge gained from neuroscience and behavioural psychology into clinical practice, whilst respecting the physical components of the pain experience. He is able to condense cutting edge information into easy to understand information and strategies that can be immediately implemented into practice.

Since completing the course many of our physiotherapists have commented that they have been implementing these strategies and are seeing results with complex clients who they were struggling to see appreciable changes with prior. I would highly recommend this course for anyone looking to improve their understanding and management of low back pain, chronic pain or simply wishing to avoid causing chronic issues in their clients (which should be everyone)!"
