Mrs. Julia Allen-Goodwin - Sports Physiotherapist


Julia has worked as a physiotherapist across private practice clinics in Melbourne and in various elite sports settings for many years. She completed her Masters in Sports Physiotherapy in 2019 and is recognised as a titled APA sports physiotherapist.


Over the past four years Julia has also worked with the Australian Volleyball team helping both the indoor Men’s and beach volleyball program when on tour internationally. She also has extensive history working in netball with the Victorian State junior sides, the ANL team Victorian Fury as well as the Collingwood Magpies in 2018.


Julia’s areas of special interest include lower limb injuries, tendinopathy, management of post op and conservative ACL injuries, workplace ergonomics and injury prevention in sport.


Julia is passionate about high level care including thorough assessments and clear management plans that include rehabilitation exercises and education to help empower her clients and improve outcomes/recurrence.
